Six Age-Reversing Secrets!

Everyone wants to look and feel their best as we age. One of the key elements is Human Growth Hormone. The levels of this hormone usually peek by age 20 and can decline 14% each year thereafter. This is usually associated with the aspects of aging that we don’t like. Such as; wrinkles, more body fat, loss of energy, graying of hair etc. Studies have shown that increasing levels of human growth hormone (HGH) can reverse or halt many of these things. Here are some helpful hints to increase your body’s ability to produce HGH naturally.

  1. Cardiovascular exercise: If there is anything that could ever be touted as the Fountain of Youth, it has to be staying active. The most common forms of cardio are walking, running, bicycling, treadmill, stair master etc. Cardio has been shown to increase the amount of HGH released by the pituitary, as well as the many other benefits of this type of exercise. It is important to exercise in your aerobic range, you should be able to talk, not gasp for air, or sing.
  2. Resistance Training: Weight lifting helps build and sculpt the outline of muscle. It also greatly increases HGH production. It is important to allow 48 hours between weight lifting sessions to allow the muscle to re-build after you have torn it down.
  3. Drink plenty of water all day long. It will keep your skin hydrated, flush out toxins and hydrate the joints of the body.
  4. Get a good night of sleep. At least 6-8 hours in preferable. Your body naturally releases HGH in the first hours of deep sleep. Sleep also helps with having healthy looking skin.
  5. Try not to eat carbohydrates for at least three hours before going to sleep. Carbohydrates stimulate insulin production. Insulin and HGH don’t get along so well. High levels of insulin will suppress HGH production.
  6. Get adjusted on a regular basis. By keeping your spine free from subluxations, your nervous system will function optimally giving you the best opportunity for overall health.
